I’ve been playing a lot with mixed metals lately. And sizes of pendants. It’s amazing how the different sizes of bezels inspire me to search for a particular image. It’s usually in the other direction where the image inspires the final piece. The teeny rectangle bezels are literally just a ‘wisp’ of a pendant, but they allow a detail of an image to be seen in a completely new way and call for a certain look. I’m excited for these as a summer staple because they’re so light and can be layered in excess.
The larger multi-strand necklaces are a great experiment in textures and lengths of chains. I love the earthy tones of antiqued brass and copper as well as the vintage findings like keys and academic ‘charms.
Here’s some examples of what I’ve come up with for the last Clover Market of the spring for Sunday. Stop by Ardmore on Sunday, June 5th from 10 – 4 to see them in person!
