So much resining to do to make up for lost time while I had the flu! It’s all the more difficult being stuck in the basement with a mask on my face when the weather is as beautiful as it is today. Oh well, it must be done- Clover Market is in one week (from tomorrow, officially) and there’s much to do! These joeys will become fun little stud earrings when I’m done with them.

Yes, it’s officially spring but we’re still getting four inches of snow today in bucks county, pa. In a way, it’s working for me because there’s no sunny, spring-like weather distractions. March has been tough because the flu brought me down a few weeks ago, so there’s lots of catching up to do in order to be ready for the deluge of spring shows that begin mid-april.
Clover Market with kick off the season on april 14th in ardmore, pa. I can hardly wait, it’s always an amazing event and there’s a great new slew of artists and vendors as well as old favorites retuning for the season. Check out the pinterest board of the spring sellers here.

I’m so excited to be participating in Clover Market‘s first wintry offering – ‘Winter Market’ at the 23rd street Armory in Philly. Yes, it’s tomorrow! Along with Clover’s usual group of fantastically curated sellers and makers there’s also food trucks and a selection of diy workshops.
You can still buy tickets (here) for a discount ($5 gets you 2 for 1), and there’s a second round of earlybird vip entrance (9am) tickets available (here) which includes a gorgeous Greenmarket Purveying candle and free cup of ‘coffee and snap’ from Rival Brothers and Art in the Age- sure to get you going early in the am! Otherwise, you can pay for admission at the door.

happy new year! after a restful and rejuvenating break, it’s time to get back to work. kickin’ 2013 off right, there’s already a few shows on the books…
i’m so looking forward to ‘winter market’ at the 23rd street armory. clover market always does it right with an immaculately curated group of sellers and makers, but this time there’s food trucks and a selection of diy workshops. you’ll want to buy tickets ahead of time for an earlybird vip entrance (9am) complete with swag bag & coupons (tickets here) or 2 for 1 advance ticketing (tickets here). otherwise, you can pay for admission at the door. this you won’t want to miss.
debuting on february 9th is the ’30th street craft market’, presented by vix emporium. this valentine show will highlight 30 local artists and craftspeople in the historic 30th street station in philly. this show will continue in the warmer months on the ‘porch’ of the station- find out more about this cool new event here.

well, it was a fantastically busy fall, and now that we are within the final weeks before christmas, things are even busier. currently, i’m packing up orders and preparing for my last show of the season/year.
the event is ‘market at the fareway’, a brand new weekly sunday market in chestnut hill (located behind the historic chestnut hill hotel on germantown ave.) I’ll be there this sunday, december 16th from 11:oo – 4:00.
the site is formerly the old farmers market which is in the middle of a transformation and will feature a different dozen or so handmade and vintage vendors every sunday. here’s more on what and who you’ll see there.
i’ll have a nice selection of goodies on hand for everyone on your gift list. if you can’t make it, no worries, there are many ways to shop joey. you can visit my etsy shop or any of these fine retailers that carry joeyfivecents. in addition, i’ll have things at ‘out of hand’, a pop up shop on 12 race street in frenchtown, nj for the month of december.

It’s that time again! Clover Market’s October installation is this Sunday, October 14th in Ardmore, PA from 10 – 5. As always, there will be a carefully curated selection of vendors and makers selling vintage and handmade, food and free hands-on crafts for the kids.
I’ll have a nice selection of joeys perfectly suited for fall and for holiday gifts. Look for me in my usual spot, booth #19, on the corner of the third row off of Lancaster Avenue. You’ll find a complete list of all 100 plus vendors and map here.
Plenty of copper and deerskin suede wrap bracelets will be on hand- they double as a choker as well.
